We’re looking for a friendly, practical and reliable person to join us as Caretaker at Camp Eagle Eye.

Set in a peaceful bushland location in Glenreagh, this live onsite role would suit someone who enjoys hands on work, takes pride in keeping a property well maintained, and likes being part of a community focused organisation.

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day care of the campgrounds and facilities, helping make sure the site is clean, protected, welcoming and ready for Scout groups and other visitors to enjoy.

This is a part time 3 month fixed-term contract, with an option to review.

About the role

Your day-to-day work will include:
Mowing, gardening and general grounds upkeep
Basic maintenance and repairs
Cleaning shared facilities and accommodation areas
Opening, closing and securing the site
Assisting with bookings and site access
Coordinating trades and service providers when needed
Helping ensure the camp is protected and well presented at all times

Handy, practical and self-motivated
Comfortable working independently
Organised and reliable
Friendly and approachable with visitors and volunteers
Able to manage a range of tasks across the property
Committed to safety and high standards

Requirements
Current Driver Licence
National Police Check
Working With Children Check
First Aid / CPR (or willingness to obtain)

What’s on offer
Grade 2 (Amusement and Recreation Award)
$27.08 per hour. 15 hours per week.
Base salary of $21,122.40 per annum
Superannuation of $2,534.69
Live onsite accommodation included
