About the role

We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef de Partie to join our team at The Panorama Hotel in the beautiful coastal town of St Helens, Tasmania. As a Chef de Partie, you will be reporting directly to our Head Chef and will be responsible for assisting in all culinary operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional dining experiences for our customers. This is a casual role and will involve working in our well-equipped kitchen facilities.

What you'll be doing
Involved in the daily operation of the kitchen, including food preparation, and quality control
Working with a team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff, in a positive and collaborative work environment
Ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and food hygiene standards
Participating in menu tastings and customer feedback sessions to continually improve the culinary offering

What we're looking for
Experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
Minimum 5 years' experience in a professional kitchen setting
Exceptional culinary skills and a deep understanding of diverse cooking techniques and flavour profiles




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with front-of-house staff
Relevant qualifications in hospitality
