Job Duties/Essential Functions
Operates a clamp, slip-sheet, or fork sit-down lift truck to unload trailers and palletise floor-loaded merchandise
Transfers pallets of received merchandise to shipping lanes set up by the warehouse or to other areas of the depot
Transfer empty pallet stacks within the depot. Clean the area daily.
RF Scan & Operates Baler Machine
Operates electric pallet jack to move pallets of received merchandise to shipping lanes or to other areas of the depot
Wraps and unwraps pallets
Sorting the pallets and labelling as required (some heavy lifting involved)
Unloading of floor-loaded containers (some heavy lifting involved)
Follows proper receiving and general safety and security procedures and standards
Counts and logs incoming and outgoing pallets. Loading and unloading trailers of pallets
General upkeep of depot and grounds
Able to work in a team and can work with minimum supervision
Must maintain a high level of facility safety, security, and cleanliness
Assists in other areas when required




Must be able to work on Saturdays
Must have ambient warehousing experience and be physically fit
Must be versatile and keen to work in both Ambient & Chiller and in different departments as per business needs.

Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery
Forklift, EPJ, Computer, printer, phone, calculator, handheld two-way radio.

Non-Essential functions
Assists in other departments where necessary.

Qualifications
Education/Training: Higher School Certificate preferred.
Licenses/Certifications: Must have a Forklift Licence
Knowledge/Skills: Basic Computer Skills. Solid Knowledge of Work Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
Other Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication skills at all levels

Other specific requirements:
The successful candidate will be subject to a criminal record check
Drug and Alcohol test
