Role & Responsibilities
Translate Requirements: Convert complex technical requirements into actionable delivery plans that align business objectives with high-assurance security outcomes.
Drive Delivery & Scope: Lead cross-functional teams through design, testing, and deployment phases while managing scope, schedules, and critical interdependencies.
Coordinate Tranches: Oversee delivery across multiple capability tranches (CTs) to ensure seamless transitions to new enterprise identity solutions.
Risk & Governance: Proactively manage delivery risks, compliance, and dependencies to align with overarching strategic program goals.
Stakeholder Engagement: Provide explicit, structured updates to technical teams, executive leadership, and key government stakeholders to maintain transparent alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this position, you will ideally bring:
Technical Toolkit: Strong understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), certificate-based authentication, and enterprise secure identity management frameworks.
Experience: Proven track record leading the delivery of enterprise-grade security and cryptographic solutions, ideally within Defence ICT environments or classified information domains.
Core Capabilities: Exceptional cross-functional leadership, dependency management, and communication skills with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to executive stakeholders.
Eligibility & Clearance Requirements
Security Clearance: Due to the nature of this environment, candidates must hold a current NV1 security clearance (with willingness to upgrade to NV2) or preferably hold an active NV2 security clearance. Candidates must be Australian Citizens.
Location & Flexibility: Canberra, ACT (Hybrid/Flexible working arrangements supported).
