About the role

In this full time role, you will be responsible for preparing and applying paint, protective coatings and other finishes to structural steel components and fabricated steelwork. Your role will be crucial in ensuring our products are finished to a high standard, providing protection against corrosion, surface integrity and maintaining their quality and appearance.

Key responsibilities
Surface preparation of fabricated structural steel components
Selection and application of primers, protective coatings, specialised paint systems and varnishes
Repair and rectification of coating defects

About you
At least AQF Certificate III including at least two years on the job training, or AQF Certificate IV
Alternatively, at least three years of relevant work experience in lieu of the above qualification
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
