About the role

Old Mate's Group is looking for cocktail bar staff to join a team of professionals that strive to provide quality service. The role is based at Old Mate's Place, a 2 level bar with a rooftop located on Clarence Street in the heart of the Sydney CBD. Old Mate's Place is a winner of the 2025 Bar of the year by Australian Bartender Magazine. Part of the family is Old Love's, a winner of rum bar of the year 2025 for Bartender magazine. The venues are multi-faceted high-volume cocktail bars focused on guest experience. We have a solid inhouse training program in place for the right candidate to develop the skills they have already achieved in their qualified bartending career.

Deliver quality service in a high-volume workplace

About you
2 years' experience in a high pace cocktail bar
Motivated and ambitious in the way you work
Positive attitude towards team and workplace
Genuine love for hospitality
Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification required at the start of employment
Australian work rights required for this position
Able to commit for longer than 6 months
