About the role

This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes initiative, and thrives in a hands-on finance role. You'll manage the full accounting function, ensure compliance with reporting obligations, and provide accurate financial insights to support decision making.

Key responsibilities
Manage end to end accounting and bookkeeping functions
Maintain general ledgers, journals, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payment processing
Complete month end, quarter end, and year end processes
Prepare financial reports, cash flow statements, budgets, and forecasts for monthly Finance meetings
Maintain the asset register and manage asset reporting
Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG, superannuation, and other statutory returns
Coordinate annual audit requirements and liaise with external auditors
Maintain internal filing systems, databases, and digital archives
Provide general administrative support as required

About you
2+ years' experience in bookkeeping, finance administration, or a similar role




Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (preferred)
Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and cloud-based accounting software
High numerical accuracy and excellent time management skills
Clear written and verbal communication
Robust attention to detail, integrity, and problem solving ability
Comfortable working both independently and within a small team

Working closely with the General Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the Club while supporting a small, friendly team.
