1st Year Apprentice Mobile Plant Mechanic

Programmed Apprenticeships & Traineeships, in partnership with Wirtgen (a global leader in mobile machine solutions), are seeking a motivated 1st Year Apprentice Mobile Plant Mechanic to join their team.

This is a hands-on chance for someone with a genuine interest in mechanics who enjoys practical work and wants to build a long-term career in the heavy equipment industry.

Key duties
Fault finding and mechanical repairs
Servicing and maintenance of mobile plant equipment
Electrical (12V & 24V) and hydraulic troubleshooting
Machine preparation and component rebuilds

About you
Robust interest in mobile plant or heavy vehicle mechanics
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Safety-focused with good work ethic




Basic computer skills
Able to obtain a police check
Driver's licence preferred (not essential)

Additional information
TAFE completed via block release
Pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen required
