Data Migration Lead required to support a large migration from Oracle to Cosmos DB for a leading financial services business

Responsibilities:
Assess and uplift current Oracle to Cosmos DB data migration processes
Lead data analysis and reconciliation testing
Manage and resolve migration issues
Work closely with delivery leads, data engineers, analysts and business stakeholders, providing technical advice

Requirements:
Proven experience leading data migration projects
Experience with Oracle and/or relational database migrations.
Solid data analysis experience.
Ability to investigate data discrepancies and identify root causes.
Experience working with technical teams to resolve migration issues.




Robust understanding of data migration testing, validation and sign-off.
Experience migrating to Cosmos DB or another NoSQL platform would be beneficial
Experience with Azure / Microsoft data technologies.
Experience working with migration scripts, SQL and data analysis tools.
