GELATO MAKER / KITCHEN CHEF(32-40hrs/wk)

Location: Sydney Fish Market or Enmore

Cow and the Moon is on the lookout for a skilled and passionate Gelato Maker to join our team in either of our Sydney Stores. This is a rare chance to become part of our award-winning, family-run gelateria, known for its commitment to quality, creativity, and strong community roots.

The Role:
Produce high volumes of high-quality gelato, following family recipes and accurate instructions
Produce granita for the store
Support with gelato cake production, sweet making, and some pastry baking
Collaborate and communicate closely with the kitchen team, the HQ production team, store manager, and owners
Assist with stock ordering and kitchen organisation
Deliver excellent customer service when working front of house
Help maintain a clean, safe, and happy work environment

What We’re Looking For:
At least 1 year of hospitality experience (kitchen experience preferred but not essential)
Full Australian working rights
A genuine interest in desserts, gelato, and food craft
Strong attention to detail
A team player who enjoys working closely with others
Open-minded, adaptable, and eager to learn new skills
A hands-on attitude and ability to roll with the fast pace of hospitality
Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards
