The Role

We are hiring Customer Service and Packaging team members for our store in Woodridge, QLD 4114. This is a hands-on role that combines front-of-house customer interaction with back-of-house packaging and food preparation tasks. All hours for this role are worked on site at the Woodridge store. Both full-time and part-time positions are available with an immediate start.

Responsibilities
Serve customers at the counter, answer product questions, and process transactions through the POS system
Package sweets, savouries, and gift boxes to Pure Desi's presentation and food safety standards
Perform light food preparation including portioning, plating, and labelling
Restock shelves, rotate stock, and maintain product displays
Maintain store cleanliness and comply with food safety and hygiene requirements
Receive and unpack deliveries, assist with stock intake and correct storage

Requirements
Previous experience in food retail, hospitality,



or customer service is required
Strong verbal communication skills and a professional, friendly approach to customer interaction
Available to work a rotating roster across mornings, afternoons, and weekends
Physically capable of standing for extended periods in a rapid-paced setting
High attention to detail, particularly with product packaging and food handling
Must hold full Australian working rights -- visa sponsorship is not available for this role
