Job Overview / Brief​

We are looking for a reliable and energetic Kitchen Hand to join our team on a casual (a few days a week). ​The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, assisting with dishwashing, and helping our chefs with basic food preparation and preparing entrees.
​

Key Responsibilities
​Dishwashing & Sanitation: Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment quickly and efficiently. Keep the dishwashing and kitchen areas clean and organized.
​Food Preparation & Entrees: Assist in preparing entrees, appetizers, and basic prep work according to head chef instructions and recipe standards.
​Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety. Clean food prep areas, sweep/mop floors, and dispose of rubbish throughout the shift.
​Stock & Inventory: Help receive, unpack,



and store food stock and kitchen supplies when needed.

​Requirements / What We Are Looking For
​Prior experience in a kitchen, hospitality, or dishwashing role (preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate).
​Basic knife skills and food handling knowledge (specifically for entree prep).
​Ability to work quick, efficiently, and calmly under pressure during busy service times.
​Robust team player with a positive attitude and valuable communication skills.
​Must be punctual, reliable, and physical stamina to work on your feet.
​Valid work rights in Australia.

Pay: $32.18 – $33.05 per hour
