R Vashist & V Vishawjeet is seeking an experienced and motivated Horticulture Grower to support the cultivation, production and marketing of horticultural crops. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating crop production activities, maintaining crop health and quality standards, and contributing to the overall productivity and success of the farming operation.

Job Responsibility

Plan, organise and coordinate horticultural production activities to ensure the successful cultivation, harvesting and marketing of crops while maintaining quality, productivity and compliance standards.

Duties

· Plan and coordinate crop production activities from soil preparation through to harvest.

· Select seeds, seedlings and plant stock suitable for production requirements.

· Implement irrigation, fertilisation and crop nutrition programs to maintain optimal growing conditions.

· Monitor crop health and manage pest, weed and disease control activities.

· Organise harvesting, grading, packaging, storage and dispatch of produce.

· Coordinate the sale,



purchase and distribution of horticultural products.

· Oversee general farming operations and manage biosecurity risks.

· Monitor and maintain irrigation systems, farm equipment and other infrastructure.

· Maintain production records and monitor market activity to support crop planning.

· Assist with budgeting, resource allocation and operational cost management.

· Train, supervise and coordinate farm workers and contractors as required.

· Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and relevant agricultural regulations.

Qualifications

· AQF Bachelor Degree or higher qualification in Horticulture, Agriculture or a related field.

· At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in horticultural crop production.

· At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications.

Salary

AUD $75,000 – $90,000 per annum plus Superannuation

Working Conditions

· Full time

· 38 hours per week.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
