Experienced Chef – Full time, 4 days per week, 38 hours per week (four 9.5 hour shifts per week, 5:30am-3:30pm).

We are a family-owned cafe in North Mackay that needs a RELIABLE, experienced chef 4 days a week. Early starts (5:30am), no nights, no split shifts! Availability on weekends also required (rotational roster to share the weekend work). On probation to start so that we can both ensure it’s the right fit.

The Role

• Early start (5:30am start to make sure the kitchen is ready for a 6:30am open)

• Breakfast and lunch service — cafe style menu

• Prep, cook, plate, keep the kitchen clean and food-secure

• Work with the existing team and keep standards high when it’s busy

• No night work
