We are a sheet metal manufacturing business based in Bayside, Victoria, looking for an experienced and reliable Medium Rigid (MR) Truck Driver to join our team on a casual basis.
The role primarily involves delivering manufactured sheet metal and roofing products to customers and job sites throughout Melbourne and surrounding areas.
This is a casual position with versatile working hours, which may suit someone looking for additional work or a position that can work around other commitments.
Duties include:
Driving MR trucks to make customer and job-site deliveries
Loading and unloading sheet metal and roofing products
Correctly strapping and securing loads
General labouring and manual handling duties
Moving and organising materials around the factory and vehicles
Checking loads before leaving the factory
Taking reasonable care of company vehicles and equipment
Working safely around sheet metal and building materials
What we're looking for:
Current MR licence or higher preferred
Manual truck driving ability
Previous truck driving/delivery experience preferred
Experience securing and strapping loads
Physically capable of carrying out general labouring and manual handling duties
Reliable and punctual
Good attitude and ability to work independently
Good understanding of safe loading and transport practices

We are looking for someone dependable who is comfortable driving trucks as well as helping out with general duties when required.
