About the role
We are seeking A Qualified Carpenter or an Experienced Tradesman/Handyman looking for a change to join our team. This is a casual F/T role, Monday - Friday Night & Day shifts. As an experienced trades qualified, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our construction site and facilities.

What you'll be doing
Undertake a variety of general maintenance and repair work, Commercial strip out's, including carpentry, plastering, painting and other building tasks
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, then complete necessary repairs in a timely and efficient manner
Work collaboratively with our construction teams to ensure projects are completed to a high standard
Maintain a protected and clean work environment, following all relevant health and safety protocols
Provide feedback and recommendations to improve processes and efficiencies
Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used

What we're looking for
A qualified tradesperson, with a broad skill set across multiple trade areas
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a keen eye for detail
Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team




Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with clients and colleagues
Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
A current driver's licence and reliable transportation
Forklift licence & EWP not compulsory but is preferred
White card
Knowledge of the building industry

Pay: $40.00 – $65.00 per hour

Underwood QLD 4119: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:
Plastering: 4 years (Preferred)
Cabinet Making/Carpentry: 4 years (Preferred)
Carpentry/Plastering: 4 years (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:
Driver Licence (Preferred)
EWP Ticket (Preferred)
Forklift Licence (Preferred)
White Card (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
