Farsi-Speaking Disability Support Worker -Preston

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Farsi-speaking Disability Support Worker to provide one-on-one support to an NDIS participant in Preston.

Hours:
Monday to Sunday
10:00am – 3:00pm
5 hours per day

Location:
Preston, Victoria

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily living activities and personal tasks to support the participant's independence.
Provide support with household tasks and maintaining a protected and comfortable home setting.
Assist with meal preparation and nutrition-related activities.
Support community access, social participation and engagement in recreational activities.
Accompany the participant to appointments and community-based activities as required.
Provide transport assistance where appropriate and in accordance with NDIS funding.




Promote the participant's choice, independence, wellbeing and achievement of their goals.

Essential Requirements:
Fluent in Farsi.
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Current Working with Children Check (if applicable).
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
Experience supporting people with disability preferred.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills.

This role requires a respectful, patient and person-centred approach to support the participant to live independently and actively engage in their community.

Pay: $40.00 – $80.00 per hour
