AFM Constructions Pty Ltd was established with the specific aim to provide high quality masonry services. With years of experience, we have gained the vital insight and knowledge needed for the unique requirements of building. The success of AFM Constructions is based on our adherence to quality work processes and the expertise of our longstanding teams.

Due to an increased workload we are seeking Foremen, Bricklayers and Labourers for an immediate start.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Duties include :

(a) Work from plans and specifications to confirm the materials required, dimensions and installation procedures from our clients

(b) Pre-cut, cut, shape, lay bricks blocks, masonry and other variety of building blocks to construct, raise, reform walls, arches, fences and other structures according to clients request

(c) Ensure alignment is level and accurate

(d) Use equipment and machines to cut, shape and polish stones and bricks to fit inconsistent spaces

(e) Mix and pour concrete, plaster and mortar and spread as required and as per job specifications

(f) Repair and maintain clay bricks

(g)



Construct scaffolding as per state or site based requirements

(h) Cement blocks/bricks and related structures

(i) Repair/Fix clay bricks, blocks, cement and other structures as necessary

(j) Secure foundations using moisture-resistant materials

(k) General labouring and brickwork

(l) comply with reasonable directions given to you by the Employer

(m) at all times act faithfully, honestly and diligently

(n) ensure you are performing solely work related activities in work time

(o) exhibit a qualified and courteous attitude when dealing with the Employer, its customers, employees, suppliers and other members of the public and

(p) act in the Employer's best interests at all times

Skills and experience

At least two years relevant experience in a related area is required for these positions.

Fast learner to understand and apply current knowledge and techniques.

Interpersonal Skills.

Solid attention to detail and accuracy
