Chef – Casual or Full Time

Montalto Vineyard | Red Hill South, Mornington Peninsula VIC

Montalto Vineyard is a premium hospitality and wine tourism destination operating a restaurant, cellar door and events venue on the Mornington Peninsula. We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our professional kitchen team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook high-quality menu items in a skilled kitchen environment
Contribute to menu development and seasonal menu planning
Maintain food quality, presentation and portion control standards
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards
Assist with supervision and guidance of junior kitchen staff
Support efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods

Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ relevant commercial cooking experience
Experience working in a skilled hospitality kitchen
Solid knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
Ability to work a versatile roster including weekends and public holidays

Salary

Competitive Salary for Level4/5 commensurate with skills and experience.
