Accountant/Payroll Location: Perth, WA Position Type: 12-Month Contract

About the Role

We are seeking an Accountant with solid payroll experience to support payroll operations and ensure compliance with Australian payroll, taxation, and superannuation requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Research, analyse, and resolve payroll, tax, and superannuation matters for local and expatriate employees.
Perform payroll calculations and reviews to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Recommend and support the implementation of changes relating to taxation, payroll legislation, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain the integrity of payroll systems and data in line with legislation, company policies, and mandatory reporting requirements.
Contribute to payroll-related projects as required.
Act as a key contact for the coordination of payroll audits.

Qualifications & Requirements
Solid experience in a payroll-related role.
Sound understanding of Australian payroll regulations and requirements.
Robust written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
