About the role

This is a hands-on position where no two days are quite the same. You'll work across our retail store and warehouse, helping customers, processing sales, receiving and despatching freight, picking orders and keeping stock organised.

Key responsibilities
Serving customers and providing friendly, helpful service
Assisting customers with product selection and enquiries
Processing sales through our point-of-sale system
Learning our extensive range of agricultural, industrial and trade products
Picking and preparing customer orders
Receiving, checking and processing incoming freight
Packing and preparing outgoing freight and customer collections
Loading and unloading trucks and customer vehicles
Replenishing and merchandising stock
Maintaining accurate stock and warehouse locations

About you
Enjoys dealing with customers and helping people
Friendly, approachable and a positive communicator
Reliable, organised and has a solid work ethic




Willing to learn and develop product knowledge
Can work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable using computers and learning recent systems
Physically capable of warehouse work and manual handling
Willing to have a go and help out wherever required
Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, warehousing, hardware, agriculture or trade supplies would be highly regarded but isn't essential
A forklift licence would be an advantage but not essential
