Sugar City Services are seeking an experienced HR truck driver to perform site deliveries of various freight utilising vehicle loading cranes and a tilt tray throughout the Mackay and Whitsunday regions also including the Moranbah area.

The role will include but not be limited to

· Customer site deliveries of trade and building products

· Customer site deliveries of shed kits, patios and car ports

· Transportation of shipping containers, vehicles and machinery

· Assist with general maintenance of equipment when required

Essential requirements

· Current open HR driver licence

· Current general construction white card

· Ability to work efficiently and safely in a team or independently with exceptional attention to detail

· Ability to complete all necessary documentation required for proof of delivery, drivers daily run sheet and mandatory NHVR logbook.





· Minimum 2 years' experience with operating vehicle loading cranes

· Ability to pass a medical and D&A; test if required and carry out some manual handling when required

· Has outstanding knowledge of load restraining techniques

Beneficial extras

· High risk Vehicle loading crane licence (CV)

· High risk Doggers licence (DG)

· High risk Forklift licence (LF) or experience with operating forklifts

· Experience with operating various types of small machinery

· Mechanical knowledge of highway trucks

· Experienced with the operation of tilt trays
