Mend'em Towing is a growing, family owned business with over 25 years of experience servicing Melbourne's western suburbs. We are currently seeking a experienced Tilt Tray Tow Truck Operator to join our team or some who has genuine interest in the towing industry and is keen to learn. The part time role is ideal for someone looking to work a few days per week but must have tilt tray experience, earn extra income, or for someone seeking a semi retired position while staying active in the industry.

Key responsibilities
Conduct pre-start vehicle checks
Safely load, transport, and unload vehicles
Communicate effectively with dispatch
Maintain professionalism with customers and stakeholders
Work including accident towing, police jobs, and salvage & auction work
Work rolling roster (includes nights & weekends)

About you




Minimum 2 years' truck driving experience or some who has genuine interest in the towing industry
MR Licence (minimum)
Ability to store the truck at your residence when on call from home
No criminal history (Police Check required)
Ability to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
Strong passion and interest in towing industry
Must reside in one of the following suburbs: Werribee, Wyndham Vale, Tarneit, Hoppers Crossing, Truganina, Point Cook, Altona Meadows
Strong communication and customer service skills
Basic tech skills (GPS, dispatch apps, etc.)
Safety-focused mindset
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Robust problem-solving ability
