Jetcrete is a full service industry leader in the underground mining industry providing services to our major mine owners throughout Australia in the application of Shotcrete.

We are currently seeking experienced and highly motivated people for our Renison operations in the full time permanent position of:

HEAVY DIESEL FITTER

All applicants will be required to meet the following employment criteria:
Ability to pass a police clearance, a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
Hold or be able to obtain surface and underground inductions
Hold a relevant trade certificate
Hold a current driver's licence.

It is desirable that applicants have:
General heavy machinery experience in servicing & repairs
Experience with Normet machinery (highly regarded)
Experience with Sandvik drill rigs (highly regarded)




Experience in the underground setting (highly regarded)
A high level of diagnostic skill in electrical and hydraulic systems (preferred)
Sound auto electrical knowledge
Self-motivation and leadership skills (highly regarded)
The ability to work unsupervised.

Employment will be based at Renison in Tasmania, working a roster of 7 days/nights on, 7 days/nights off in 12-hour shifts - residential or drive-in, drive-out. (Accommodation and messing supplied.) Mature aged and local candidates are encouraged to apply.
