MECHANICAL FITTERS - BRISBANE

Engineering Trades Australia are currently recruiting experienced Mechanical Fitters with extensive pipe fitting experience for a busy workshop based in Brisbane.
This is a outstanding opportunity for trade-qualified Mechanical Fitters looking for consistent Monday-Friday work, with occasional Saturday shifts available.

THE ROLE
Working within a skilled workshop environment, you will be responsible for mechanical fitting, assembly, maintenance, repairs and refurbishment of industrial equipment and components.

Duties may include:
Mechanical fitting, assembly and disassembly of equipment
Pipe fitting experience needed.
Hydraulic and mechanical component repairs
Maintenance and refurbishment of industrial equipment
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics
Fault finding, repairs and troubleshooting
Workshop fitting, fabrication and general maintenance
Using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment
Working safely and maintaining high-quality workmanship

$58 per hour
Monday-Friday
10-hour days
Occasional Saturday work
Brisbane-based workshop

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter
Previous workshop mechanical fitting experience
Strong mechanical maintenance and repair skills
Hydraulic experience highly regarded
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Mining, oil & gas, manufacturing or heavy industrial experience advantageous
Strong commitment to safety and quality
Reliable and able to work effectively within a team
