Merkon Constructions is seeking a Senior Estimator to join our Melbourne based team in Moorabbin. Working across high-quality mixed use, residential, institutional and commercial projects and be responsible for -

Your responsibilities will include:
Leading a team of estimators
Estimate and monitor construction costs from the project feasibility stage, through tender preparation and submission.
Maximise value, minimise risk, and optimise all building cost outcomes.
Complete detailed cost estimates calculated from a measured scope of works.
Compare contractor's quotations, scope reviews, and tender comparisons.
Provide m2 elemental reports to estimate feasibility-buildability of projects.
Prepare and lead weekly tender meetings.
Be responsible for sourcing tenders to estimate





You will need to have:
A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar or proven extensive experience (age is no barrier).
An understanding of Melbourne subcontract market and construction pricing.
A strong team leadership skill
