Based in either our Brisbane or Maroochydore office, this role is responsible for managing the financial reporting and performance of a portfolio of properties.
Working closely with Hotel General Managers and operational leaders, you will provide valuable financial insights, support commercial decision-making, drive business performance, and act as a trusted finance partner across the portfolio.This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with stakeholder engagement in a dynamic hospitality environment.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strong technical accounting skills with business partnering and stakeholder engagement in a fast-paced hospitality environment.Key Responsibilities Include:Prepare monthly financial reports accurately and within reporting deadlinesComplete monthly Profit & Loss reporting and variance analysisPrepare monthly forecasts, annual budgets and cashflow analysis for your portfolio of propertiesPerform daily and monthly revenue, balance sheet and bank reconciliationsReview financial performance with Hotel General Managers, Property Owners and Finance LeadershipProvide financial advice and commercial support to operational leadersAssist General Managers in identifying cost drivers and opportunities for improved profitabilityAnalyse business performance and provide actionable recommendationsTake ownership of the finance function for an allocated portfolio of propertiesIdentify and implement process improvements and efficienciesEnsure financial controls, compliance requirements and reporting obligations are maintainedCommunication & Stakeholder ManagementDevelop robust working relationships with Hotel General Managers and operational teamsPartner with stakeholders to support business performance and financial outcomesCommunicate confidently and professionally with hotel owners and external stakeholdersParticipate actively in meetings and provide meaningful financial insightsFoster open, honest and collaborative communication across the businessQualificationsTo be successful in this role you will have:Bachelor of Accounting, Commerce or a related disciplinePrevious experience as a Property Accountant, Hotel Financial Controller or similar finance roleStrong financial reporting,
