Main Duties

The Rim Facility Trade Assistant will support the day-to-day operations of the Mackay Rim Facility, assisting with rim inspection, preparation and repair activities. No two days will be exactly the same. You’ll be involved in:
Blasting and preparing rims for inspection and repair
Painting completed rims




Assisting tradespeople with workshop and rim repair activities
Receiving and unpacking deliveries
Picking and packing orders
Loading and unloading trucks
Moving and organising stock and materials
Keeping the workshop and warehouse clean, safe and organised

Qualifications

You’ll be someone who:
Is reliable and ready to get stuck in
Enjoys hands-on, physical work
Works safely and takes pride in their work
Is a good team player
Is willing to learn and develop new skills
Can work across both workshop and warehouse activities
Experience in a workshop, warehouse, blasting, painting or industrial environment would be great, but a solid work ethic and the right attitude are just as important.
