We're looking for a talented Civil / Structural Engineer to join our team and contribute to some of Victoria's most significant electricity infrastructure projects.This role will focus on the civil and structural design of substations, including earthworks, drainage, buildings, equipment foundations, steel structures and associated infrastructure.Your opportunityWorking alongside electrical engineers, project managers and delivery teams, you'll help design the civil and structural components that support critical Zone Substation and transmission infrastructure.Your work will include:Designing bulk earthworks, drainage, buildings, structures and equipment foundationsDeveloping civil and structural solutions for Zone Substations up to 66kVPreparing detailed engineering calculations, specifications and design documentationSupporting the civil aspects of underground cable infrastructure and earthing system designSupporting transmission line tower civil and structural designReviewing and quality-checking designsDeveloping scopes, estimates, schedules and resource plansSupporting projects through design, construction and commissioningWorking closely with project managers, electrical engineers, contractors and suppliersIdentifying risks and finding practical,



innovative solutionsSharing your knowledge and helping others growAbout youWe're looking for someone who is technically strong, curious and genuinely enjoys working with people.You'll ideally bring:A recognised Civil Engineering qualification, or equivalent experienceExperience in civil and/or structural designExperience within utilities, electricity, energy or major infrastructure is highly regardedStrong knowledge of Australian Standards and engineering practicesExperience with earthworks, drainage, structures and foundationsProficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft OfficeStrong engineering calculation and technical documentation skillsAn understanding of project costs, scopes, schedules and deliveryExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsA proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvementAt Zinfra, we are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels supported and valued.
