The ideal candidate for the role is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is not afraid to be hands-on, ambitious, motivated, and has had previous experience in a Front Desk or management role.Responsible for the supervision of the smooth and efficient daily operation of the Hotel and ensures that all hotel guests and visitors receive an optimum level of service and care at all times.This is a hands-on role, highly customer focused, and requires an individual who can lead by example in meeting and maintaining our team brand standards.
In addition, you will:Assuming responsibility for the operation of the hotel under the guidance of the Operations ManagerOversee all guest arrivals and departures,
ensuring room allocations and check in/out processes adhere to agreed procedures and standards.Manage and supervise tasks of staff to ensure that highest quality service is delivered and department standards are met.Review and implement ProceduresCommunicate with Operations Manager on all matters regarding guest services & hotel operations.Provide management presence at all times by assisting with the handling of guests' needs and complaints tactfully and efficiently.Have the necessary skills and training to actively resolve complaints and challenges presented by customers.Conduct property walk‐throughs and ensure safety and service standards are metAssist with staff training, rostering, and performance supportManage emergency situations and act as the senior decision‐maker on dutyMaintain accurate reports and handovers between shiftsEnsure customer/guest and staff needs are metQualificationsExperience:Previous supervisory or management experience within a Hotel Front Office department.Previous experience using OPERA Cloud, checking in and out guests in a 200+ HotelA driven problem solver with a creative approach to delivering the ultimate guest experienceA passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest serviceA calm, confident presence under pressureAn outcome driven approach to performance and results, striving to achieve excellence.Proven strong Microsoft office skills and transparent communicationCommitted to driving memorable guest experiencesA positive, enthusiastic attitude and the ability to work a flexible rotating 7-day roster including week-ends and public holidays.A flexible and adaptable approach to be able to respond to a variety of different work situationsAbility to work a rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends and public holidaysPlease note: Full working rights for Australia required, we are unable to sponsor for this position.Additional InformationOur commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:
