Senior Project Engineer – ElectricalFIFO RequiredAre you an experienced Electrical Engineer ready to step into a senior role on some of Australia's most significant energy and infrastructure projects?
We're looking for a Senior Project Engineer – Electrical to join our high‐performing team and take ownership of technical delivery across a diverse national project portfolio.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys leading technical outcomes, and is comfortable working across multiple sites.
You must be open to FIFO, as we have projects running across all Australian states.
About the RoleAs the Senior Project Engineer – Electrical, you will be responsible for the conceptual and detailed engineering of HV substations, solar farms, battery energy storage systems, and electrical balance‐of‐plant (BOP).
You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements.Working closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will provide technical direction and leadership through all project phases — from planning and procurement to commissioning and handover.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical & Project DeliveryLead and conduct complex engineering work with minimal supervisionProvide specialist engineering advice to internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractorsCoordinate and supervise multi‐discipline design activitiesManage interfaces between engineering disciplines and external stakeholdersDevelop ITPs, work packs and review electrical test sheetsSupport commissioning teams and troubleshoot technical queriesEnsure design‐for‐construction principles are metReview project scope, costs,
