About the role
As an Endoscopy Registered Nurse, you will play an integral role in delivering secure, high-quality care across the patient journey and may work across admissions, procedure room and recovery areas according to operational requirements.
Key responsibilities
Assist proceduralists during endoscopic procedures.
Prepare procedure rooms, equipment and consumables.
Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention standards.
Monitor and support patients throughout their procedural journey.
Provide safe, patient-centred nursing care in admissions, procedure and recovery areas.
Deliver transparent patient education and discharge instructions.
Support efficient patient flow and theatre operations.
Collaborate effectively with proceduralists, anaesthetists and multidisciplinary team members.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with organisational policies and qualified standards.
About you
Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
Minimum 2 years post-registration nursing experience.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
Current National Police Check.
Evidence of required immunisations and vaccination status.
Highly Desirable: Endoscopy nursing experience.
Highly Desirable: Procedural room, scrub/scout or perioperative nursing experience.
