Supporting a large-scale underground operation, you'll be part of a high-performing team responsible for keeping critical mine services running safely and efficiently across site.Your new roleWe are seeking experienced Underground Service Crew Operators to join the underground development team on a rotating 8/6, 7/7 day and night shift roster.
In this physically demanding role, you'll play a vital part in supporting underground operations through:Installation and maintenance of mine services throughout the operationVentilation installation and maintenanceGeneral underground labouring dutiesOffsiding underground machinery and equipmentAssisting development crews with day-to-day underground activitiesEnsuring work is completed safely and efficiently in a challenging underground environmentThis is a hands-on role suited to candidates who thrive in physically demanding underground environments.What you'll need to succeedPrevious experience in an Underground Service Crew position within a hard rock mining environmentExperience installing and maintaining underground services and ventilationAbility to perform physically demanding manual tasks for extended periodsStrong safety focus and commitment to following site proceduresCurrent manual driver's licenceAbility to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screeningReliable work ethic and a strong team-first attitudeWhat you'll get in returnCompetitive hourly rates with weekly payFIFO from Townsville or Cairns, or DIDO from Mt IsaStable roster of 8/6, 7/7 rotating day and night shiftsOpportunity to join a respected underground mining operation with a solid safety cultureOngoing work with potential for long-term career opportunities
