If you find purpose in helping people, feel safe, connected and confident in their future, this work will speak to you.About The RoleAs a Community Housing Support Worker, you will support residents living in transitional housing while ensuring the property remains safe, well maintained and welcoming.
You will build positive relationships with residents, help them settle in, respond to day-to-day needs and ensure tenancy requirements are met in a respectful and supportive way.Your work will include tenancy management, welfare checks, resident engagement,
safety monitoring and coordination with contractors.
You will also contribute to a calm and respectful environment by responding to maintenance issues, supporting new intakes and ensuring records are kept up to date.This is a full time, permanent role based in Alice Springs, with salary and conditions aligned to SCHADS Level 4.How You Will Make An ImpactEstablish warm and professional relationships with residentsProvide welcoming and responsive inductions for new tenantsSupport residents through regular communication, welfare checks and respectful engagementManage tenancy requirements including inspections, rent ledgers, leases and maintenanceRespond to urgent matters including non-rental payment, safety concerns and immediate needsMaintain accurate tenant records and update data in line with TSA standardsCoordinate grounds keeping and maintenance with contractors and the Caretaker or CleanerPrepare properties for new intakes and complete final inspectionsReport incidents and risks in accordance with TSA policies and proceduresContribute to a safe,
