Experience in Aged Care is preferred along with recent management experience.In fulfilling the role, it is essential that you have:Current AHPRA registration and willingness to obtain a National Police CheckCommitment to Quality Improvement and Aged Care Accreditation standards3-5 years clinical experience in aged careKnowledge of Aged Care Act, best practice documentationDemonstrated experience in mentoring & supervising a multi-disciplinary team of staffKnowledge of best practice documentation and relevant Commonwealth aged care funding instrumentsFlexibility in days of work including working weekends.A strong passionand commitment in the delivery of Aged Care ServicesA deep empathy and general care for aged care residentsPrevious experience as an Aged Care Facility Manager is highly desirableExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsTertiary qualifications in a related area viewed favourablyYou will have autonomy in the role but will have the support from a strong, engaged and seasoned leadership and corporate support team.
