You work with civil, structural and primary specialists across diverse scopes.About the OpportunityYou produce HV transmission line designs that meet specifications and support safe, sustainable outcomes.
You prepare drawings, reports and documentation, apply Safety in Design, use modelling tools and help resolve design issues.
You collaborate across teams and contribute to design verification and improvement.What are the key accountabilities for the position?




Develop HV transmission line designsUse modelling tools to optimise performancePrepare drawings, reports and specificationsApply Safety in Design requirementsCoordinate design inputs across disciplinesResolve design issues and support improvements Required Skills and CompetenciesBachelor's Degree in Electrical EngineeringChartered Status (including RPEV, RPEQ, NER & CPEng), or the ability to achieve within 6 months of commencing, is desirableTier 1/Tier 2 contractor or TNSP experience highly regarded.4+ years' senior experience in transmission line design (220kV+)Advanced PLS-CADD skills (preferably to 500kV); working knowledge of PLS-Tower.Understanding of HV transmission, substations, and applicable standards.Skilled in preparing explicit, accurate reports, drawings, schedules, and specifications.ACCIONA has been given the Top Employer ****, ****, **** & **** certification in Australia, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
