This is an on-site role for someone who genuinely enjoys creating a positive experience for everyone who walks through the door — our people, our visitors and our clients.
You'll shape our office culture and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly through the effective management of office administration, facilities and, above all, people.Key ResponsibilitiesBe the face of Egis, meeting and greeting visitors and clients, ensuring a warm and professional presence at reception during business hours and managing incoming phone callsProvide onboarding to new employees, including workplace health and safety induction and security passes, helping every new starter feel welcome from day oneOrganise and implement internal social events in coordination with the Social Committee and within budget, and support the coordination of external corporate functions and eventsGeneral office management, including facility management and organising the repair and maintenance of office assets and equipmentEnsure common areas and meeting rooms are neat and tidy,



working closely with IT to ensure IT assets are functioningCoordinate internal and external deliveries and mailPerform the role of Health & Safety Lead during emergency events, liaising with the crisis management team in line with the Crisis Management PlanSupport Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) activities, collect carbon data for the office, and work with our team towards achieving carbon targetsSupport vehicle fleet administration dutiesManage office costs within the approved budget, and assist with expense claims and company credit card reconciliation as requiredCoordinate travel and accommodation as requiredQualificationsIdeally, you will have previous experience in a similar office, administration or people-facing role, and a genuine enthusiasm for creating a great experience for those around you.
You will be able to commit to being present at our North Sydney office five days a week.In addition, you will also have:Prior experience in a similar role, ideally within a professional services or consultancy environmentPolished personal presentation and a polite, respectful and skilled mannerProficiency with MS Office packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and TeamsEffective time management and organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks effectivelyStrong communication skills, both written and verbalThe ability to work proactively within a busy team environment with minimal directionStrong attention to detailAdditional InformationWe are open to considering this role on a full-time, part-time or job-share basis.
