The Role
Newkey Consulting is partnering with a leading principal contractor delivering a major utilities infrastructure upgrade on the Central Coast, NSW.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Engineer for a permanent position.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide in office Mechanical engineering support to project delivery teamsSupport planning, site coordination, and daily construction activitiesMonitor quality assurance and compliance requirementsSupport subcontractor management and contribute to safety, environmental and quality outcomes
About You
You are a motivated engineering professional looking to contribute to a major infrastructure project and develop your career within a supportive and high-performing team.
You will bring:Degree qualification in a Mechanical Engineering discipline1–2+ years' post-graduate engineering experience, ideally within construction,



infrastructure or a project environmentStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teamsCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvementStrong organisational skills and attention to detail
Highly regarded:Previous site-based engineering experienceExperience working on water or wastewater infrastructure worksExposure to mechanical installation, piping, pumps or process equipment
