Role Summary
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high quality clinical care for Residents within established policies, guidelines and procedures of our client.
Specifically, in the following:
To provide high quality clinical care to Residents within established policies, guidelines and procedures of our client.To provide clinical leadership and first line supervision to Enrolled Nurses,



Team Leaders and Care Service Employees including allocation of dutiesWork collaboratively with Enrolled Nurses and care service employees to provide quality clinical and care services in accordance with organization policies and procedures, ANMC Code of Ethics, Code of Qualified Conduct and common law affecting nursing practice.Support and promote a culture that promotes wellbeing, safety and individual and team accountability through effective hazard identification and risk management.
Responsibilities
Providing direct resident care and nursing services congruent with recognised nursing practice and procedureUndertaking delegated nursing activities which assist in meeting the needs of residentsProviding direct resident care and nursing services congruent with recognised nursing practice and procedureOrganising delegated workload in conjunction with the Facility ManagerParticipate in the ongoing monitoring and review of WH & S practices
Knowledge and skills
Experience in an aged care settingUnderstanding of Aged Care and associated LegislationUnderstanding of AN-ACC Care Minute requirementsExperience in delegating supervising and leading staff
Qualifications
Current APHRA registration as a Registered NurseTertiary education in NursingBasic Life Support accreditation
