Role: Project Manager – Financial Crime

Project management
Manage a project to deliver solutions/capabilities that meet business requirements and realize perks within agreed scope, time, cost and quality
Monitor and report to the Program Director and Project Sponsor on status of financials, risks, issues and progress towards milestones and deliverables
Capture learnings and the Intellectual Property through Knowledge Management and reapplying these learnings for future projects

Knowledge and Experience:

Experience
Proven track record in successfully leading and managing medium/large projects with many of the following characteristics:




Indicative cost up to $20M
Project duration up to 18 months
Teams typically ranging up to 30 resources
Project Impact: Medium
Project Risk: Medium
Minimal sub projects / streams
Single end deliverable (more complex)
Up to 5 business areas affected
Medium reliance on external partners
Limited interdependency (up to 5 projects)
Management of diverse stakeholder expectations, across different business divisions
5 + years' experience within projects and/or delivery of technology solutions (minimum 3 years at Project Manager level)
3+ years working in a large and complex organisation
3+ years' experience in the financial services industry
Demonstrated ability to understand the differing business practices

Education
Technology tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
Certified Practicing Project Manager (via AIPM) and/or Project Management Qualified (via PMI) accreditation desirable or internal training mandatory (refer to the Project Management Education catalogue on the EIS site)
