The successful candidate will primarily support our busy Orthopaedic theatre lists while also contributing across a range of surgical specialities.
Come work in our brand-new, state-of-the-art theatre facilities, CSSD and PACU spaces on a permanent part-time basis.
About Us:Peninsula Private is a 65-bed acute and rehabilitation hospital with 6 operating theatres and a new high dependency unit to open soon, on the idyllic Redcliffe Peninsula.
Specialties include orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, gynaecology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, internal medicine and the delivery of leading rehabilitation services and programs on the Brisbane northside.
Key responsibilities:Deliver evidence-based nursing careLiaise with the multi-disciplinary teamEnsure patient and staff safetySupervise, direct and guide nursing team members, graduates and studentsDeliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their surgery and health recoveryEssential Criteria:



Current Registration with AHPRA or relevant governing bodyProven Scrub/Scout experience in an acute perioperative setting, particularly in Major Orthopaedics, with the ability to support General Surgery and Urology listsValid working rights in AustraliaCommitment to Quality Patient CareCompliance with ACQSHC National standardsSound clinical decision making and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsWorks well independently and within a teamBasic computer skillsExcellent communication and customer service skills Why Healthscope?
