The RoleWe're looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to provide vital administrative and project support to our Project and Construction teams throughout all phases of project delivery.Reporting to the Technical Manager, this role works closely across Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance to ensure the efficient delivery of construction projects, maintaining accurate project documentation and reporting, coordinating project information flow, and managing financial processing tasks.Please note this is an experienced project coordination role rather than an entry point into project management.
No formal qualifications are required; however, a background in engineering is essential.ResponsibilitiesEstablish, maintain, and control project documentation, registers, start-up files, and close-out packages (including as-built manuals)Manage high-volume invoice data entry (SAP) and verification against purchase orders and project cost codes within our project management system, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailAssist Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination, scheduling, transmittal's, and correspondenceManage procurement and contract administrative support, including purchase order issuing, supplier quote requests, and subcontractor documentation approvalsAct as a reliable point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on project administrative mattersProvide general business support,
including collating reportsWhat You Will Need to SucceedPrevious experience in construction administration or project administration, gained within the Australian construction/engineering industry – requiredExperience processing supplier invoices, financial reconciliation, and data entry – requiredSAP (high-level competency)MS Project experience - essentialPower BI, including analysisDocument control (basic knowledge)Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)Exceptional organisational, planning, and time-management capabilitiesOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of accuracy and keen attention to detailProven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a teamAn organised, proactive, and solution-focused approach, with a positive and cooperative attitudeOur BusinessAdbri Cement was formally known as Adelaide Brighton Cement.
