Behind every memorable dining experience is a clean, safe and well-organised kitchen.As a Kitchen Hand, you will support the culinary team by maintaining clean and hygienic work areas, operating dishwashing equipment and ensuring our Food & Beverage outlets have the clean and sanitised equipment they need.
"Hospitality is a work of Heart," and we are searching for an energetic and dependable individual to become our next Part-Time Kitchen Hand at Tesoro.Join us and become a Heartist®Job Description Maintain clean and hygienic kitchen, food preparation, pantry and scullery areasOperate dishwashing equipment safely and efficientlyEnsure all outlets are supplied with clean, dry and sanitised operating equipmentCount, sort and safely store crockery, cutlery, glassware and kitchen equipmentComplete scheduled cleaning duties, including deep cleaning floors, walls, cool rooms, ovens and equipmentMaintain the cleanliness and stock rotation of pantries, fridges and freezersAssist with receiving, storing and organising stockAssist with basic food preparation as directed by the culinary teamHandle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to instructionsCollect and dispose of kitchen waste using safe and hygienic practicesFollow all food safety, hygiene, manual handling and workplace health and safety requirementsComplete assigned duties and provide a clear handover at the end of each shiftQualificationsPrevious experience in a kitchen, hospitality,
