We are looking for someone with a proven track record of building technology applications, with experience in leading a software engineering team.
You are responsible for owning and maintaining your services, while building out feature roadmaps for the services you own.As the Lead in the team, you develop the best engineers to deliver services that are able to support the demands associated with the world's leading cloud provider.
You are able to work with stakeholders to develop and deliver on your feature and investment roadmap.




You have excellent verbal and written skills and communicate effectively with technology and business oriented stakeholders - whether it is to communicate your team's roadmap, having difficult trade off discussions or managing customer expectations.
Minimum RequirementsExperience in a Team/ Technical Leadership roleExperience building and maintaining real-world products using continuous integration/deployment5+ years' experience working with up-to-date backend frameworks such as Django5+ years experience software engineering using Python Experience building and maintaining APIs via RESTful web servicesA track-record of creating and maintaining automated tests to build high-quality software (unit, acceptance and UI tests)QualificationsWork experience as a director of engineering or in a similar senior-level position at an engineering departmentHands-on experience in back-end and front-end developmentGood understanding of agile methodologiesLeadership abilities with a strategic mindAdditional InformationFlexible working is an option.
