The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Planning Supervisor to join our Birkenhead team, reporting to the Engineering & Reliability Manager.
Leading a team of two Planners, you will be accountable for effective planning, coordination and leadership of shutdown and maintenance planning processes — ensuring the site operates safely, reliably, and cost-effectively.
This is a great opportunity for a maintenance planning professional to step into a leadership role within a heavy industry workplace, with real influence over reliability outcomes and site performance.ResponsibilitiesLead and standardise integrated weekly/fortnightly/monthly planning across all workgroupsAct as SAP Champion — maintaining the CMMS (equipment register, bills of materials, PMs, etc.)Collate, scope, and plan shutdown activities to be delivered safely, on time and within budgetDevelop maintenance work packs to achieve benchmark reliability performanceSupport condition monitoring of key assets to inform shutdown planning developmentManage store stock and support supply chain relationships for effective inventory controlReport on shutdown program progress and support development/monitoring of shutdown and annual maintenance budgetsCoordinate maintenance and contract work groups to safely execute shutdown and project work scopesLead,
