Serving the community for over 9 years, we pride ourselves in customer rapport and believe in first impressions. We are seeking a self-motivated individual, looking for employment within the field of optics and keen to take on a challenging but rewarding role to help us expand our team as we open our new location in Lavington.

Qualifications & experience

Opportunity provided to complete Cert IV in Optical Dispensing
Must have own transport

Tasks & responsibilities
Assisting members with lens selection based on prescription
Providing exceptional customer service, both face-to-face and over the phone
Ensuring adequate measures are taken to control inventory
Invoicing, filing and entry of scripts into systems
Practice basic selling principles, day-to-day sales
Willing to gain understanding of eyewear tools
Willing to learn and understand the theory of optics
Demonstrate understanding of lens and frame materials
Identify, measure and mark-up single vision, multifocal and progressive lenses
Merchandising
Adjusting of frames
Maintain a clean, secure and skilled workplace
