About the role

Vista Day Surgery, a leading provider of specialist day surgery services, is seeking a part time Medical Receptionist to join their team in Wayville, South Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our day surgery facility and provide exceptional customer service to our patients.

What you'll be doing
Greeting and welcoming patients to the facility in a friendly and professional manner
Effectively handling patient enquiries and providing information about upcoming admissions
Coordinating bookings for operating theatre lists
Managing medical records and updating patient information
Checking a patients health fund status
Undertaking billing for patients episode of care
Assisting with administrative tasks and other duties as required

What we're looking for
Previous experience in medical reception
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Proficiency in using medical software and computer systems
A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
