About the role

Working within an experienced and supportive team, you will play a key role in the day-to-day administration of a busy specialist practice, ensuring a high standard of service is delivered to patients and healthcare providers.

Key responsibilities
Managing a high volume of incoming telephone enquiries
Providing professional and empathetic customer service to patients and healthcare providers
Accurate data entry and maintenance of patient records
Processing administrative documentation and correspondence
Liaising with patients, hospitals, doctors and health funds
Assisting with billing and health fund enquiries
Maintaining confidentiality and compliance with privacy requirements
Supporting the day-to-day operations of the practice and assisting team members as required

About you
Previous administration experience in a busy office environment




Strong customer service and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Well-developed organisational and time management skills
The ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
Robust computer literacy and confidence using a range of software systems
A professional, reliable and team-oriented approach
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
Full working rights in Australia
Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
