About the
role:
In this
role, you will support victim-survivors of Family, Domestic and
Sexual Violence (FDSV) through the delivery of trauma-informed,
culturally safe and coordinated care across Central West
Queensland.
We are excited to offer this opportunity to
professionals based in Longreach, as well as experienced and
passionate candidates living in Emerald or Barcaldine through a
Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) working
arrangement.
For
those based in Emerald or Barcaldine, this unique DIDO opportunity
provides the chance to work closely with the Longreach community
while maintaining your home base, travelling regularly to Longreach
to build solid local partnerships and deliver consistent,
hihh-quality support to participants.
Your
work will play a critical role in breaking down barriers to
healthcare and social support, ensuring individuals experiencing
crisis or temporary accommodation challenges can access the
services they need when they need them most.
What will a
typical day look like?
Partner with
victim-survivors to navigate healthcare systems and access
essential services.
Co-design
individualised care, safety, and recovery plans that reflect
participants goals and aspirations.
Champion continuity
of care by building strong referral pathways between health and
FDSV sectors.
Advocate for
trauma-informed, culturally safe responses that respect dignity
and privacy.
Collaborate with
stakeholders, including Western Queensland Primary Care
Collaborative Limited (WQPHN), to enhance care coordination and
streamline access.
Contribute to the
implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of this
pilot project.
Mandatory
Requirements:
Diploma level
qualifications in Community Services or similar.
3
years relevant experience.

Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or
