Overview
Your RoleAs a Director, Application Architecture, you are accountable for architecture strategy, solution governance and executive technology leadership across complex transformation portfolios.

architecture and technology leadershipProven experience leading enterprise architecture and large-scale transformation engagementsDeep expertise in designing distributed systems, microservices and event-driven architecture, and integration patterns including REST, GraphQL, gRPC and streamingProven success engaging executive stakeholders and influencing strategic decisionsDeep expertise in cloud, distributed systems, integration and modern application architectureProven consulting background with experience in client-facing leadership rolesExperience managing architecture teams and developing future leadersProven commercial acumen, estimation and business-case development experienceExecutive-level communication and stakeholder management skillsSet Yourself Apart WithExperience leading architecture on client-facing consulting or product engineering engagements.Background in domain-driven design, event storming and team topologies for large delivery organisations.Hands-on experience with AI and generative AI product patterns, including retrieval, orchestration and agentic workflows.Relevant cloud or architecture certifications, for example AWS or Google Professional Cloud Architect, or TOGAF.Exposure to regulated industries such as financial services, payments or health, and their compliance and data-residency considerations.
